All the best inforational pictures I could find surrounding general life-hacks, survival, and personal growth.
I did polyphasic sleep for about a little over a month. I was doing the "Uberman" schedule (20 min naps). It was a really great experiment, and would make sense to maintain if the rest of the world would get on board. It's really interesting how the body adapts it it; it feels like several four hour days. You wake up after your 20 min nap feeling like you just got a whole night of sleep then about two hours in it feels like afternoon and by the four hour mark it feels like 2AM and you're ready to crash... for another 20 minutes. The amount of time you end up with can actually be a little bit maddening. EVERYONE is sleeping, there's nothing but BOTs on your favorite counter-strike server, and you're awake. Sort of forces you to do personal development/productive activities though (go for walks, write, read, meditate, etc) just to kill some time. All in all I'd say I wish everyone slept on the uberman schedule. I would warn anyone thinking of attempting it that: it is extremely hard the first two weeks, ANY caffeine at all (even chocolate) will completely derail you and you will have to start over (as caffeine can interfere with REM cycles), and don't eat things that make you sleepy to begin with (steak, burgers, etc). It's totally worth it to experience it if you can seriously dedicate yourself to the experiment. Kudos on the hack!! =D
I will try! :O
Ah sleep hacks... I need more time and focus in order to follow this right now though -_- I'm working on lucid dreaming right now, had my first one a week ago, pretty cool
Thank you, keep it up! :)
Good pic! :)
Interested in this, have you tried it yourself?
I'll be attempting this in a few weeks :D
